I'm Lochy, the friendly ghost

This is me after I've had a shower. Talk about rituals. I shower first and then my human mum has her shower and I have to wait for her to finish.
I know it's coming because she takes me into the bathroom, closes the door and turns on the shower. I am happy to walk under the water. It's warm and feels good.
Then she washes me down so I'm dripping wet and squirts shampoo on me.
This is the bit I really really like. She massages my back, my legs, my tummy. I like a firm massage. None of this woosy dainty fingertip tickles.
Then she picks up each of my paws, one at a time. Lochy One, Lochy Two, Lochy Three, Lochy Four. Lochy Five is my nether regions (bum hole if you want to be precise). Rub a rub dub.
She tries to wash my face but I don't like it. That's when enough is enough. No more showering.
Wash off all the suds and now I am really looking like a drowned rat. I'd rather no one saw me like this. I look pathetic.
I have my own towel which no one else uses.
She throws it over me.
It's soothing. Underneath I feel like I am in my own little cocoon of gentle glowing white light (because my towel is white. I hate coloured towels and especially hate towels with patterns). I sit on the floor and wait until the water stops making a noise. That's when I know she has finished her shower.
A bit more massaging with the towel over me then off it comes.
I give a big shake from tip of ears down to tip of tail. I've had enough of water and want dry.
So that's me clean and returned to pearlescent white until the next time that I feel compelled to have a dig in the garden.
